The information wecollect:
ActuaryJobs may collectinformation about you, such as your name, contact details, skills,qualifications, nationality, languages spoken, professional associationmemberships or accreditations, interests and your employment history and pastresponsibilities. We may also collect this and other types of personal orcompany information during the course of dealing with you.
Where practicable, thepurpose for which we collect personal information and the consequences of notproviding it will be made clear at the time of collection.
Users who are not registered with Actuary Jobs canvisit our website without revealing who they are or other personal information.If you provide us with personal information through applying to a position on theActuaryJobs website we may log your usage of the site for the purposes below.
Use of your information:
ActuaryJobs will use thepersonal information we collect for the purpose disclosed at the time ofcollection, or otherwise as set out in this Privacy Policy. We will not useyour personal information for any other purpose without first seeking yourconsent, unless authorised or required by law.

a) to establish andmaintain your relationship as a website user, client, job seeker, or freelanceuser of ActuaryJobs, including providing you with employment and resourceopportunities, newsletters, reports and other information;

e) to assist us to make ActuaryJobs'sservices more valuable to our clients and candidates;

Job Seeker Information
Job Seeker personalinformation (namely, your name, telephones numbers, email addresses, and homeaddress) is not displayed on the site except in your own personal, secure loginsection. Your overall skills and employment history (called your"Resume") are displayed online and are freely searchable and viewableby employers. If an employer wishes to contact you they must first requestaccess through the web site. Depending on the access levels you have specifiedyour resume will either be emailed to the employer and a notification emailedto you, or you will be sent an email asking for your permission to send yourcontact details to the employer.
Access to yourinformation:
Registered Job Seekers, Freelancers andEmployers can sign in and access their information anytime. This informationcan be viewed, updated, or deleted at any time. Individuals are able toexercise their rights as outlined in the Privacy Act when relating toinformation recorded and stored by ActuaryJobs. However, access may be refusedin those situations where it would impact on the privacy rights of otherpersons or breaches any confidentiality agreement relating to that information.If at any time your details change or you would like to access any personalinformation we have collected about you, our Privacy Officer will be able toassist you.
Security:
ActuaryJobs will takereasonable steps to keep secure any personal information which we hold and tokeep this information accurate and up to date. Personal information is storedin a secure server or secure files. The Internet is not always a secure methodof transmitting information. Accordingly, ActuaryJobs cannot acceptresponsibility for the security of information you send to or receive from usover the Internet or for any unauthorised access or use of that information.
